If NASCAR was more like this, I might watch it. Wait, no, I still wouldn’t. April 10, 2007

DUH!? WHICH WAY TO WE GO AGAIN?!?I thought this was funny (car crashes rarely are), but Michael Waltrip, whoever that is, was charged with reckless driving and hit-and-run after hitting a telephone pole and rolling his car. Don’t get all pissy at me either. He wasn’t hurt so it is okay to laugh. To put it into perspective for fans of REAL sports (which NASCAR is not) and REAL athletes (of which NASCAR has zero), this is kinda like LaDanian Tomlinson breaking a 50-yard run, dozing off somewhere along that run, and crashing into the wall at the back of the endzone. Hey, I crashed my ‘91 Ford Explorer once, does that make me an athlete?

P.S. The only reason this is tagged “sports” is so my faithful following could find it and get a good chuckle. God as my witness, I have never, and will never, consider driving a car a sport, or drivers athletes.

Come on Warren Moon! Come on! April 10, 2007

In an unfortunate incident, Warren Moon, one of the greatest NFL quarterbacks, was arrested under suspicion of drinking and driving. Warren Moon played for the Seattle Seahawks during the 1997 and 1998 seasons, but is most noted for his career with the Houston Oilers. Currently, Moon is an analyst for Seahawks Radio, 710 KIRO AM. Along with play-by-play man Steve Raible, Moon can be heard calling Seahawks games.

Luckily for Moon, he isn’t a player anymore. If he were, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell’s new player conduct policy might land him with a year suspension.
